Archetypes & Intention

A Tarot-Informed Stitching Workshop

Saturday 15 March | WIP Space Studios, Wandsworth

Join me for a reflective, beginner-friendly embroidery workshop exploring tarot as a creative and symbolic prompt.

In this 2.5-hour session, each participant will pull a tarot card and use its imagery and archetypal themes as a starting point for reflection and intention-setting. This is not a predictive tarot reading — rather, we’ll use the cards as a visual language to spark journaling, conversation, and creative exploration.

Through guided prompts, you’ll consider:

  • What feels present in your life right now?

  • What is emerging?

  • What are you being invited to embody or release?

  • What intention would you like to carry forward this season?

These reflections will then be translated into stitched text, symbols, or abstract forms on fabric. You may choose to stitch a word, a phrase, an image, or respond through colour and texture.

The workshop centres slow making, shared conversation, and collective presence. No prior sewing or tarot experience is required — all materials are provided.

Optional: You may upgrade on the night to stitch onto a tote bag, creating a functional talisman to carry your intention forward.

This is a calm, inclusive space for reflection, creativity, and connection. Beginners and seasoned makers are equally welcome.

What’s Included

All materials: thread, embroidery floss, needles, scissors (for workshop use), and fabric.
You’ll take home the textile artwork you create.

What to Bring (Optional)

Nothing is required — everything you need will be provided.
