Expressive Floral Painting Workshop

Discover the joy of expressive floral painting in this uplifting painting class in London.

Wednesday 13 May | WIP Space Studios, Wandsworth

Explore the unique strength and softness of florals as you learn expressive painting techniques in this guided workshop in London.

You'll start with a simple "thin to thick" approach, beginning with a light drawing before gradually building up layers from transparent washes to richer tones and final highlights. This step-by-step process is designed to build your confidence while leaving plenty of room for your own creative spark to shine through. Using acrylics and mixed media, you'll explore colour, composition, and brushwork to create a beautiful floral piece inspired by the season.

This class is a wonderful fit for first-timers or those with a little more experience, as it offers a relaxed and supportive environment to play with paint. With all materials provided and a small group size, you'll get plenty of individual guidance to help you feel right at home.

You'll finish the session with a completed artwork and a newfound sense of artistic accomplishment to take home with you. Future sessions will explore different seasonal flowers, so you can always come back to keep growing your skills.
